Swedish House Mafia- Save the World (Video)

At first, I thought this was going to be another dramatic, Nickelback style music video that tries to hit home some bullshit point about humanity. Nope. Dogs, saving people from crimes! Classic. I started busting up as soon as it cut to the welsh corgi biting the guy's leg. I think the last music video that I saw where I actually laughed out loud was Grum's 'Through the Night' so this was refreshing to see another very creative, original, funny, well done music video. Enjoy.

Summer Kick Off Music

Oh yes a fresh new batch of playboy tracks to help you kick off your summer right. I kicked mine off the right way this past weekend by seeing Rusko in Vegas. Besides almost dying from fireballs above my head the show was great. He dropped a couple new remixes that I was impressed with. Anyway turn these new tracks up and let the summer shenanigans roll.

City and Colour- Northern Wind

City and Colour AKA Dallas Green is about to release a new album entitled 'Little Hell' on June 7. Not only am I extremely excited for it because the songs already sound kick ass but I feel the buzz is finally back on City and Colour. The last album he released didn't get that much attention and I think with the explosion of indie folk acoustic music in the past year he's been able to catch the ears of some new fans.
He recorded this new album in a church in Ontario and I highly recommend watching the video of the album being made. He released a song called 'Northern Wind' that reminds me a bit of his older material (good thing). A couple years ago he paired up with Myspace to do this sit down live recording session called 'Myspace Transmissions' where he sat down to play 6 of his songs and in my opinion they sound far better than the songs found on his album so I highly recommend downloading that from below. What many people may not know and what a lot of other blogs aren't going to post about Dallas Green is he's also in another band called Alexisonfire where he plays guitar and sings. I grew up listening to Alexisonfire so when I heard Dallas was going to be doing an acoustic side project I was pumped. Below I've posted some material to get you up to speed on everything I've talked about.

Dada Life- Fight Club is Closed (Video)

The new video for Dada Life's 'Fight Club is Closed' proves to be another weird video that makes absolutely no sense but keeps with their theme of bananas and champagne.

Foreign Beggars

The London based grime/dubstep group just dropped a new track called 'Still Getting It' that once again features Skrillex. I personally love Foreign Beggars and I think they should continue collaborating with Skrillex because both tracks they've done together hit incredibly hard and flow so well. Here is the new track along with some other goods (watch the video, probably one of the better videos I've seen in a while).

Rusko- Everyday (Video)

Rusko just released a video for his new song 'Everyday'. The video was filmed at the Salton Sea in one of the most depressing places in California. On the topic of Rusko I shall be seeing him next Friday at Club Rain in Vegas and on Saturday in LA at the Wiltern. My friend designed and built all his stage production for his 2011 tour so I'm excited to see it in action. Check out the new video below and a teaser video of Rusko's new stage setup.

Basement Jaxx- Attack the Block (Soundtrack)

Basement Jaxx becomes the next electronic artist doing a movie soundtrack but this time it's for a movie that involves South London ghetto kids taking on aliens. Yes....that's correct. As ridiculous as that sounds it still looks totally awesome and right up my alley. Basement Jaxx has already released a taste of a song. Check out the song and trailer below.

Afrojack- Pop on Acid

Afrojack just released a "new" track called 'Pop on Acid'. Reason I use quotes on new is the fact that Pop on Acid is pretty much just a remix of his older well known track 'Pacha on Acid'. Probably a good marketing move because the song will probably do very well and not have that stigma of just being another typical remix. Great song. Will definitely make people's heads explode in the clubs.

Gold Panda & Star Slinger- Marriage (Video)

Gold Panda and Star Slinger just recently released a visually stunning video for their collaborative song 'Marriage'. Simple video yet very elegant. See below.

Tiger Love

Tiger Love just released a new video for their new single 'Gio Gio'. Never really thought women cracking eggs on themselves would be sexy but turns out it is. Check it out below.
