What to expect from upcoming Skrillex tour

By now Skrillex has become a fairly common name and is arguably one of the main artists that put dubstep in the limelight. However, even with the immense amount of success he has had, he's never had his own custom built stage production, until now. Below is a video of what Skrillex plans to bring on the road with him.

The part about it that I suppose you can say is 'causing a stir' is that it uses this new innovative technology where you no longer need some crazy expensive light board but you can simply use a laptop and a midi keyboard and that's it. Anyone can use it. The technology is really cool but to be honest I expected a little bit more from Skrillex. The whole LED panels have become incredibly overused. If you have been to any electronic music festival you know what I'm talking about.

Digitalism- I Love You, Dude

Digitalism has finally released their long awaited album 'I Love You, Dude'. I haven't had much time to fully soak in the album but just off first impressions it's a good listen. There weren't a lot of a surprises because most of the album's gems have been released over the past few months like 'Blitz', '2 Hearts', and 'Miami Showdown'. You can click here to stream the new album. Also, I thought I would throw up Digitalism's video for Pogo just to bring back some good memories.

DJs From Mars

I thought it was about time I make a post about DJs From Mars. This group pumps out tracks like nobody's business and yet for some reason they aren't a group that's really in the spotlight. It has always baffled me that these guys are never on any high profile line ups. Oh well, this post goes out to them seeing as how they get the Playboy award for best Adele- 'Rolling in the Deep' remix. Check out some tracks below.

New Skrillex Tracks

Skrillex's new EP drops on June 7th and there's nothing but good things to expect. It only includes 2 new tracks and then 4 remixes of 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites'. The first track is 'First of the Year' which many believed for a long time was a track done by a different DJ. Then there's Ruffneck which has been out for a while but most of the MP3 forms of the song out there are shitty quality (by the way this song will melt your face off live). A few days ago though a new Skrillex remix was released but has flown under the radar. Skrillex remixed a song by his solo project, Sonny Moore. Remix is rad, original version kind of blows, doesn't hold a candle to his old band From First to Last which is what he should be remixing. There's a lot of previews of the song that either are poor quality or are cut short but I have the full version for you here. I've also posted some other goodies. Enjoy.

Is Tropical- The Greeks (New Video)

Just got back from vacation and I came home to this new music video posted by Is Tropical. Video has been out a week and already has over 1 million views which is pretty damn good for a band that only has 150,000 myspace plays. Great video, pretty good song.
