If you remember a while ago I made a post about Madeon's 39 track mash up that ended up going viral and was a huge hit. Well this dance video got made for it and it's BADASS. Also, includes one of the characters from the show Party Down which if you have never seen before it's streaming on Netflix so you can thank me for letting you know about both.

Boys Noize & Erol Alkan- Lemonade (Official Video)
Video dropping for the collab. effort for 'Lemonade'. Not crazy about the song but the video is kind of interesting. Two girls doing crazy tricks on fixed gears. Kinda cool, except this video just reminds me of all the shitty fixie kids strewn about Los Angeles. Check it below.

Dada Life- Happy Violence (Official Video)
Back to back Dada Life posts for their song Happy Violence. Interesting to see more DJs releasing music videos of live footage from performances. The video looks like it was some kind of kick off celebration for the new song so of course there's champagne and bananas everywhere. Only thing that bums me out about the video is the whole video is during the day time which equates to no cool lights and crowd being less engaged. Still an awesome video.
Dada Life- Happy Violence

I meant to post this yesterday but I blessed you with a plethora of posts yesterday so here it is. The new track by the goofy duo known as Dada Life.

Young the Giant- My Body (Live at the VMAs)
Last night featured a great performance of 'My Body' by Young the Giant. A friend and coworker of mine found them back in the day and it's great to see how far the band has come. If you didn't get a chance to catch the performance you can check it out below along with their most recent music video for 'Cough Syrup'. Also, big ups to Tyler the Creator on winning best new artist.

David Guetta Documentary Teaser Video
I have a ton of respect for David Guetta and what he has done for the electronic dance music scene but to be totally honest I don't care very much for his story. The teaser video shows some great live footage and includes some great music but the problem I have with this video is how it tries to paint Guetta like he is this revolutionary artist who completely changed the game. I'm not buying it. I also think it's a bit premature to be making a full blown documentary on David Guetta. It still will be a good watch.
Steve Aoki- Earthquakey People
Steve Aoki has been quite busy this past year with doing an immense amount of touring along with doing many collaborations with different producers. He's finally given people a peek of his new single 'Earthquakey People' featuring the lead singer of Weezer. I've never liked anything produced solely by Aoki but I will admit this is pretty good. However, he still hasn't really developed any kind of signature sound. Watch the video below.
Birdy Nam Nam Touring Again
First Birdy Nam Nam broke their years of silence a few months ago by dropping their new single 'Defiant Order'. Now they just announced their welcome back tour which consists of 6 dates across France. The 'Defiant Order Tour' will close out in Paris on November 19 which I will most likely do whatever I possibly can to be there for. Here's the teaser trailer they released for the tour.

Zomboy- Game Time EP

I've been debating making a post about the new Zomboy EP that's been out for a couple weeks but what the hell why not. If you like Skrillex this is right up your alley. Very dynamic, melodic, dubstep tracks that are catchy as hell. Expect big things from this dude. Download his new EP HERE.

Skrillex- Right Now (Studio Version)

Everyone got their first taste of this track at EDC and people have been waiting around for it to drop. That time is now and couldn't have come at a better time with Skrillex recently dropping his new video for 'First of the Year' and recently getting off his first headlining tour with Porter Robinson and Zedd. Here is the new track. Download it before the interweb police take it down.

Avicii- Fade Into Darkness (Official Video)
Oh boy, Avicii...Finally dropping a video for his smash hit 'Fade Into Darkness' which was previously known as 'Penguin' before vocals were thrown in. Everyone knows Avicii produces tracks that have a rich, big, bright sound that simply make you want to have a good time. This video is the opposite of that. The video spends a good 2 minutes just showing a girl walk down a path bumping into people after she just got done getting sexed up by some guy with a lame tattoo over his heart. So you spend all this time waiting for something epic to come at the end and she winds up pulling out a gun and shooting her sex slave/lover/guy she doesn't make breakfast in bed for. The only story line that I can piece together from this video is that the sex was SO incredibly bad that she left. He ran after her. She shoots him because the sex was that bad. I'm sticking to that story. You can come up with your own.

Skrillex- First of the Year (Equinox) (Official Video)
This is the first real, all Skrillex, official video Skrillex has released. Sure he did the video for 'Rock N Roll' but that was comprised of just live video clips. Then he did the video for his remix of 'Cinema' but you could tell the video wasn't really put together with Skrillex's character and gimmick in mind. You can read my thoughts on those videos here. This video however sums up Skrillex's dark yet eloquent nature extremely well. The video is so badass and will surely gather up a ton of views. Video just dropped this morning. Watch it and prepare to be blown away.

Indiana State Fair and Pukkelpop Stage Collapses
A few days ago at the Indiana State Fair 4 people were killed and 40 were injured after severe winds caused the massive State Fair stage to fall forward onto attendees. Early today at the Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium another stage collapsed during severe weather conditions while The Smith Westerns were performing. 3 were found dead and approximately 70 injured. Incredibly sad.
Digitalism- Circles (Video)
If you haven't picked up Digitalism's new album 'I Love You Dude' I recommend you get it ASAP because your're screwing yourself over by not having it. Another great music video for a great song by a really damn good group.
Don Diablo- Mezelluf (Official Video)

Don Diablo and Noisia teaming up to bring you a monster track that should cast Don Diablo back into the spotlight. When the auto tuned vocals came in I was a little worried at first but they flow very well. Very well put together song. The video on the other hand...not so much. A little too sporadic and all over the place. Didn't really get what he was going for with the video. Definitely not as good as the video he did with Example a few years ago for 'Hooligans'. You can download the track for free by liking his Facebook Page. Here are both videos.

Afrojack & Steve Aoki- No Beef (Official Video)
Afrojack and Steve Aoki are officially releasing their new track 'No Beef' this week even though the song has been out for a while now. They did however release this nice music video for it with both of them going around Vegas doing various shenanigans. I love the video. I think it captures Vegas fairly well especially with the Fat Tuesday's yard stick they walk around with and drink out of. Great song, my only qualm with it is the vocals by Miss Palmer could be in the song more. I would also like to point out Steve Aoki once again piggy backs off of a collaboration song that he probably had very little to do with since everyone knows the quality of an original Aoki song is about as good as a shit sandwich.
Deadmau5- Professional Greifers (New Track)

It's been a couple months since Deadmau5 has really released any banger tracks. It's been mostly experimental downbeat house tracks which isn't to say he's straying from his usual style. He's back though with this monster track that he premiered at Lollapalooza. A great track that will surely be mashed up and remixed a million times over. Enjoy.
Deadmau5 - Professional Griefers (Original Instrumental Mix) by Dj Kentaro™
Here's a live video of him dropping the track at Lollapalooza mixed with Daft Punk. Looks like he made some upgrades to his live production setup as well for his tour. Very nice.

Justice Announce New Album

It's hard to believe it's been almost 4 years since Justice released their album "†" but they are finally back dropping a new album entitled "Audio, Video, Disco". A lot has changed in the electronic dance music scene since then so I'm curious to see how people react to the new material. Apparently the new album is heavily inspired by rock music and has a Queen vibe to it so let's all keep our fingers crossed Justice didn't spend four years putting together an album that is way too experimental and off the wall for people. The album is set to be released October 25 on Ed Banger Records. Here's a video of a live Justice performance just to get your nostalgic fix in.

Kaskade EDC Premiere Video Summary
If you had or hadn't heard during the EDC movie premiere at the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd. Kaskade decided to post up on the back of a truck with his tables and a ton of speakers and drive around spinning. Things got out of control quick with thousands of people showing up and riot police being called in. A very familiar story with Los Angeles. This video was recently put together summing up the whole incident and "telling the truth" because apparently the media blew it out of proportion and made the electronic dance music scene look shitty or something retarded like that. Thankfully I didn't go to this even though I highly debated it. Other plans FTW.
Skrillex Sensory Sync Interview and Footage
Skrillex recently wrapped up his OWSLA tour which consisted of him, Porter Robinson, and Zedd which before it started I made a post about this new visual effects technology he was bringing out on tour. He just released this interview which includes some live footage from the tour with sensory sync in action. Side note: I never realized how awkward he is in interviews.
