StrobeHypnoticz

StrobeHypnoticz is an ambient house producer who has been able to consistently release gems. He recently released a rework of one of his older songs 'Cloud 10' which is incredible. He is more known for his Deadmau5 remixes which you should instantly download. Check them out below.

Playboy Tracks

Ah yes, the playboy tracks. September is wrapping up which means Parks and Recreations is back along with new Dexter on the horizon. Kicking it off with a Chad Valley remix of Active Child's 'Playing House' (who recently released a new album and it's amazing). Other notable mentions Knife Party coming out with a remix that almost made my head explode. A great remix of Deadmau5's song Bleed which easily is one of my favorite ambient tracks. Thought I would post an older track of At Dawn We Rage since I have forgotten to do in on the past few playboy tracks. Lastly Birdy Nam Nam's 'The Parachute Ending".....Kinda bitter since they just cancelled their LA show which I was going to go to. Of course one of my favorite artist's cancels their LA show when they NEVER play here and just came out of a multi year hiatus. Etienne De Crecy took their place which would still be cool to see but already seen him play in his cube, check it out below.

Anyway enjoy all the tracks and make sure to bump it.

A Day in the Life of Fedde Le Grand

Fedde Le Grand has been pretty busy this summer doing an immense amount of touring. He's a DJ I've always wanted to see and it seems my only opportunity will be at Nocturnal Wonderland in Shitsville USA (AKA San Bernardino, Ca) where you are sure to witness the worst music festival crowd ever. Anygay Fedde Le Grand recently released this video of him playing 3 shows, being in 4 countries, in the span of 24 hours. It's insane. Check it out below.

DJ Mehdi Dead at 34

It pains me to say this but world renowned French DJ and producer DJ Mehdi passed away today. Mehdi was celebrating his 34th birthday on his rooftop with some friends when the rooftop collapsed. DJ Mehdi was one of the originals in the Ed Banger crew with Sebastian, Busy P, and Justice. His song 'Signature' has always been one of my top favorite songs and he will be missed by many.

The Kooks- Junk of the Heart

There's been a lot of hype built up for The Kooks new album and I have to say it lives up to it. Album just recently leaked and it's a great listen. You can download it Here and check out the video below for their single off the record 'Junk of the Heart'.

Strange Talk- Climbing Walls

This video was released a few weeks ago and I totally forgot they were dropping the video but Strange Talk finally released their elaborately produced music video for 'Climbing Walls'. I expect big things from this band and with this video under their belt it should help them get some more exposure. I wish the band members would have dressed up a bit funkier for the video. You have this really awesome set with cool dancers and then a very average looking indie band. Check it below.

Justice- Audio, Video, Disco (Official Video)

This video just dropped yesterday for Justice's new single 'Audio, Video, Disco' which is a very different sound than what we're used to from Justice. The song is great however someone is probably going to need to make an epic remix of this song in order for them to be able to play this live. The video is a great representation of what had been on many people's mind for a while which is "where the fuck did Justice go?" Spending 4 years writing a new album can sometimes do that. I like that the video captures the writing process of the album but does it in a engaging artistic way rather than bullshit real footage accumulated over the years of them dicking around in a studio. Stay on the lookout for some great remixes, I'm sure a slew will be pouring out soon.

Tomorrowland Festival After Movie

The one thing that I will always envy about Europe is their music festivals. They are always bigger and better than anything America can muster up right now. I will admit in the past couple years America has made significant strides especially in regards to electronic dance music with EDC being a massive hit this year and blowing people's minds. However, America is still trying to catch up to the level European festivals are on. It all draws back to the fact that Europeans care much more about music in general. This can easily be seen in this after movie made of the Belgian electronic dance music festival Tomorrowland. 12 stages and an arsenal of DJs that would blow your mind make it one of the best festivals out there. Check out the video below. I know it's long but trust me, it's all very very good. I've also included some of the epic songs featured throughout the video.

Pryda & Empire Of The Sun - We are the Mirage (Roman Kay Intro Bootleg) by Roman Kay
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs. Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso - Genaration X Calling (Simon Sky) by Simon Sky
Alex Metric & Steve Angello - Open Your Eyes by alexmetric
Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, Yves V & Angger Dimas - Madagascar by dimitrivegasandlikemike

Jack White produces Insane Clown Posse cover of Mozart

Yup you read that right. One of music's most highly respected musicians, Jack White of The White Stripes, is producing a Insane Clown Posse song... Now, I usually try to be respectful and recognize that sure there's a lot of artists out there who may not make what many consider "good" music but hey they are doing something original and it makes people happy. I suppose I can apply that to I.C.P. but it's pretty hard to do that when you have fans and write lyrics like this. If you still are saying well this isn't That bad watch the video below.
